Durabuilt Siding Warranty

The Durabuilt siding warranty will replace, repair or refund the cost of the vinyl siding and installation if the boards flake, blister, peel, crack or weather unevenly from a manufacturing defect. The warranty also covers excessive color fading during the first five years, although it does not define what excessive fading is, unlike the warranties from ABTco and Gentek. The warranty includes a hail damage provision that says the company will replace the boards or refund the purchase price above and beyond the amount that the homeowner insurance covers.

The Durabuilt vinyl siding warranty lasts for the life of the original owner. If the home is sold, the warranty is pro rated so at year 10 the company covers 50% of the replacement cost and at year 14 and on, the company coves just 10% of the replacement cost.
