Norandex Siding Warranty
The company offers a limited lifetime warranty that effectively says the siding will be free from manufacturing defects (this is much like a window and patio door warranty). Specifically, defects might include blistering, corroding, cracking, flaking, and peeling. Additionally, the Norandex siding warranty protects against damage caused by hail. Also, the warranty protects against fading, although there is a whole pro-rated aspect to it (by year 12, they only cover 40% of the replacement cost) that is frankly confusing.
The warranty covers the original homeowner for their lifetime. Furthermore, it may be transferred to another owner. However, the new owner is covered for 50 years from the installation date and you must notify the company within 45 days. All in all, a decent to good siding warranty in my opinion.
Norandex Sawmill Vinyl Siding
Sawmill vinyl siding is the entry level product from Norandex that comes in a 4.5" profile and includes an optional deep ridge panel profile. The siding comes in a .040" thichkness and is available in 18 distinct color options.
Norandex Sawmill Cladding Price
Norandex Town Square
Town Square vinyl siding incorporates a brushed wood grain and is available in a traditional 4" or 5" panel, as well as a dutch lap 4" or 5" board. The siding comes in a .042" thichkness and is available in 21 color options.
Norandex Sterling Vinyl Siding
Sterling is the mid range vinyl product that has a hand sawn texture and woodgrain pattern. The Sterling comes in a single 8" with a .048" panel thickness, a double 4" or 5" clapboard with a .044" panel thickness or a double 5" dutchlap with a .044" panel thickness. The Sterling comes in 16 color options.
Norandex Cambridge Cladding
The Norandex Cambridge integrates Southern architecture with traditional craftsmanship to create a charming and elegant look and feel. The Cambridge is part of the Brushstroke Collection, which also includes the Shenandoah. This is one of the more premium examples of beaded vinyl cladding.
Norandex Great Barrier Siding
The Great Barrier vinyl siding is one of the premium products from Norandex and comes in either a double 4" clapboard or a double 5" dutchlap. The boards have a .046" thickness and the siding comes in some 29 distinct color options.

Norandex Polar Wall Plus
The Polar Wall Plus is a foam backed insulated siding with a .046 thickness and was rated 79 out of 100 by Consumer Reports. This was the third best score given out behind Royal and Heartland. (Click to see Royal siding prices.) The product is available in 20 colors.
Additional Materials
Additional materials will run $1 to $2 per square foot and include items such as nails, housewrap, gable vents, fascia, starter strips, soffits, corner posts, J and/or F channels and additional accessories for the project. necessary for your particular project. Of course, more complex siding jobs that use extensive amounts of these items can run more.

Installation Pricing
Installation pricing for foam backed vinyl siding will cost anywhere between $1 and $3 per square foot. Larger jobs will usually push the per square foot price down, while smaller jobs usually cost more psf. The location, time of year and specific contractor will all affect the overal cost on the installation itself.

Complete Project Pricing
Entry through mid range jobs will run from $2.75 to $5 per square foot fully installed. Mid range through premium jobs will run from $5 to $7.25 per square foot, which pays for both the panels and all additional materials, as well as the installation pricing.

Norandex Siding Warranty
The Norandex vinyl siding warranty is a bit confusing because the warranty we looked at covered some, but not all, of the products in the Norandex lineup. For instance, it did not cover the Sawmill line. This is one reason why we ALWAYS recommend that consumers take 15 minutes to read the most up to date and the applicable siding warranty just before they go to make their purchase.
The Limited Lifetime warranty covers manufacture defects such as flaking, peeling, rusting, cracking and corroding. The products are also warrantied again hail damage, although the homeowner must first try to have the damage covered under the homeowner's insurance. There is additional coverage for the Polar Wall Plus, specifically the R-value depreciation of the boards over time. The warranty covers the original owner for the lifetime of the product. It is transferrable once to a subsequent owner, however the amount that the company covers goes from 100% down to 10% by year 14 of the original date of purchase.
