The Berkshire Classic is the mid range panel from Revere and is available in four distinct profiles, including double 4" clapboard & dutch lap, double 5" clapboard & dutch lap. The boards incorporate a hardwood texture and come in a .044" thick panel.

Revere Berkshire Beaded

Revere offers two beaded vinyl siding options, the first of which is the Berkshire Beaded. This is a fairly standard beaded panel that comes in a 6.5" profile and incorporates the distinctive shadow line and brushed texture board.

Revere Sovereign Select Siding

The Sovereign Select is the premium panel from Revere and comes in a number of different options, including the standard version, extended panel length version, the Trilogy and the high end insulated Energy Smart option. The standard model comes in five different board profiles, including a double 4" and 5" clapboard, double 4.5" dutch lap, double 5" dutchlap and a 7" board & batten.

The Revere Soveriegn Select is an insulated vinyl siding that is .046" thick and scores a 72 siding rating from Consumer Reports. It received CR's best buy check mark, mainly because it is the cheapest insulated vinyl siding products that scored quite high in their testing. It comes in five different profiles and a whole host of different classic, designer and variegated color options.

Cost Of Other Materials

All siding and re-siding projects require additional materials, items that include Tyvec housewrap, nails, trim pieces, soffits, fascia, vents, corner posts, starter courses, J channels etc. How extensively they are used and the quality of product will determine the overall price. As a general rule of thumb, the cost of other materials will run $1 to $2 psf.

Labor & Installation

Labor and installation should run $1 to $2 per foot for most vinyl siding panels, while the cost to install metals such as aluminum or fiber cement panels will be 20% to 40% more expensive. Revere also sells steel and aluminum siding, which will be more expensive to install - it will typically run between $1 and $5 per square foot for the installation.
